I grew up wanting to be an architect. After 2 years of studying it at the University of Florida, it was clear that I didn’t exactly have what it took. But I continued down the path of design, starting with graphic, then web, and now UI/UX. I love design systems and how components work together.

The design tools of today have advanced so much over the years. The ability to prototype user interactions so that it is clear to the client what the expectations are have really changed the game. Usability testing with these tools allows us to see blind spots that we may have missed based on assumption.
